EMO Hannover 2025, the world’s leading international platform for the metalworking industry, took place with the participation of over 1,600 exhibitors from 45 countries and 80,000 visitors. The fair highlighted automation, digitalization, and artificial intelligence applications aimed at increasing efficiency, sustainability, and competitiveness in production technologies.

Driven by rising production costs and shortages of skilled labor, automation became one of the key focus areas of EMO 2025. Throughout the fair, participating companies demonstrated, through practical examples, how human–robot collaboration systems can enhance production efficiency. Sustainability and energy efficiency also featured prominently, as new technologies designed to reduce resource consumption in manufacturing processes attracted significant attention.

EMO 2025 once again served as an important meeting point for senior executives and procurement decision-makers. The majority of visitors reported that they achieved their objectives, while exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the fair’s role in fostering new business partnerships and industrial cooperation.

For five days, Hannover became a hub of technological innovation, knowledge exchange, and international collaboration. Within the framework of the fair, leading global representatives of the metalworking industry came together at events organized by CECIMO (the European Association of the Machine Tool Industries). During the CECIMO Directors General Meeting, participants discussed global market trends and regional developments.

Türkiye demonstrated a strong presence at this year’s EMO. More than 40 Turkish companies showcased their products and technologies in Hannover. The Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (MİB) took part in the international associations area, representing the Turkish machinery industry. MİB Chairman O. Fatih İğrek attended meetings organized by CECIMO and held various international engagements throughout the event.

The MİB stand and Turkish exhibitors were visited by H.E. Yusuf Arıkan, Consul General of the Republic of Türkiye in Hannover, along with Trade Attachés Ms. Yasemin Özak Coşkun and Mr. Yunus Emre Karan. EMO 2025 further strengthened the international visibility and representation capacity of the Turkish machinery industry.

The next edition of EMO, for which MİB serves as the official representative of Türkiye, will be held in Milan, Italy, from 4 to 8 October 2027.
