The SAHA EXPO 2026 International Defence & Aerospace Exhibition, which brings together Turkey’s defense and aerospace ecosystem, has concluded with broad international participation. Organised under the theme “Master the Technology, Shape the Future,” the event hosted a total of 1,763 domestic and foreign companies, including member firms of the Machine Manufacturers Association Türkiye (MIB) who showcased their high-tech products and projects.
High-Level Engagements and Strategic Meetings
During the exhibition, MİB Chairman Mr. Fatih İğrek and Board Member Mr. Oktay Büyükdede conducted an intensive schedule of visits. They engaged with government officials and industry stakeholders to exchange views on resolving common sectoral challenges and enhancing the global brand value of Turkey’s high-value-added production.
The delegation also visited the stands of member firms operating in the defense sector, holding consultations regarding the machinery manufacturing sector’s contributions to defense and aerospace projects, new investment requirements, and future visions.
Sectoral Cooperation and Export-Oriented Networking
Spanning an area of 90,000 square metres and facilitating a business volume of $8 billion, the exhibition served as a vital platform for demonstrating the technological evolution of the machinery manufacturing industry. The bilateral business meetings (B2B) and strategic agreements signed during the event contributed significantly to strengthening the position of domestic machine manufacturers within the global defense supply chain.
Solutions showcased particularly in precision machining technologies, mechanical components for unmanned systems, and advanced manufacturing methods clearly demonstrated the current capabilities of domestic production.
