The 19th Ordinary General Assembly of the Machine Manufacturers Association – Türkiye (MİB) was convened on May 17, 2025, at the Cevahir Hotel Asia in Istanbul, with broad participation by our members.
The proceedings commenced with the reading of a congratulatory message from Mr. Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Minister of Industry and Technology. The opening address was delivered by Mr. S. Emre Gencer, who has served two consecutive terms as Chairman of the Board of MİB. Subsequently, Mr. Kutlu Karavelioğlu, Chairman of the Machinery Exporters’ Association, addressed the Assembly and shared his assessments and perspectives on the sector.
Boards Elected Unanimously by the Members
At the General Assembly, Mr. Fatih İğrek, representing İğrek Makina, who had previously served as Vice Chairman of the Board, was unanimously elected as Chairman of the Board of the Association.
We wish to express our sincere appreciation to Mr. S. Emre Gencer, representing EMAK, for his exemplary leadership and valuable contributions to both our Association and the machinery industry during his two terms as Chairman. Mr. Gencer will continue to lend his experience and insights as a member of the High Advisory Board.
