A University–Industry Cooperation Protocol was signed between Istanbul Gedik University and the Machine Manufacturers Association – Türkiye (MİB) on July 22, 2025.
The protocol was signed by Hülya Gedik, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees of Gedik University, Fatih İğrek, Chairman of the Board of MİB, and Merve Torbalı Durukan, Treasurer Member of the MİB Board.
Under the scope of the protocol, practical technical training programs will be organized for employees of MİB member companies, and Ministry of National Education–approved certificates will be awarded to participants upon completion.
This collaboration aims to train qualified workforce to meet the needs of the industry and enhance the quality of vocational education. Employees of MİB member companies will also benefit from a 10% discount on training fees within the framework of this cooperation.
